Alliance Medical Ministry is holding its 2012 Spring Soireé on May 18, and Group3 helped brand the event with direct mail, print invitations, online communication and on-site event materials. Alliance is a not-for-profit organization that provides much needed primary health care to Wake County’s working uninsured.

Big Race Weekend for two from Group3

Group3 President, Lori McDaniel participated in the 2012 Gleneagles Adventure Race Challenge on April 28. The event started and finished at Wake County’s Harris Lake County Park. Teams completed mountain biking, trekking, and paddling for 4 to 6 hours as they navigated their way to find checkpoint flags. Estimated distances in each discipline were: paddling 4-5 miles, trekking 3+ miles, biking 11+ miles.

Lori and teammates, Jana Morris and Ann Groninger, finished (just under 6 hours) as the 1st place women’s team and 17th overall!

Sarah Styron, account manager for Group3 participated in her very first half marathon, the St. Jude Country Music 1/2 Marathon (part of the Rock ‘n’ Roll Series) in Nashville, TN. The event was also on April 28, and Sarah finished in 2:32 with her friend, Erin Gamble.

Group3 Promotes Another Successful Rex Gala

Group3 is proud to help the Rex Healthcare Foundation with the Rex Gala – a black-tie fundraiser with proceeds going to benefit the new N.C. Cancer Hospital at Rex. Over 600 people attended the event at the Raleigh Convention Center on October 29th and total revenue generated was over $268,000 – a very successful night for all involved!
